CallBell turns two iPhones into a wireless pager system using Bluetooth. The caller taps a large bell button; the receiver hears an alert sound, a spoken announcement, and sees the screen flash. No Wi-Fi, no dedicated hardware, no complicated setup — just two iPhones and this app. Perfect for shop counters, home care, multi-floor households, and anywhere a voice won't carry.
No Wi-Fi or internet required. Pair two iPhones over Bluetooth and you're ready to go. Previously connected devices are saved, so reconnecting takes just a tap.
The caller sees a large, easy-to-press bell button front and center. Once connected, a single tap sends the call signal instantly. Simple enough for anyone — young or old.
When a call arrives, the receiver hears an alert sound and a spoken message announcing who is calling. The screen flashes red and yellow — so even in a noisy environment, you won't miss it.
No special hardware, no subscription, no complicated configuration. Just install the app on two iPhones and you have a complete call system. Set a custom device name so everyone knows which device is which.
CallBell connects two iPhones directly over Bluetooth — no internet required. Paired devices are saved to history, so future reconnections are instant. Communication is stable within typical Bluetooth range inside a building.
The Caller screen features a large, prominent bell button that's impossible to miss. Once the connection is established, pressing it sends a call signal immediately. An optional "Keep Screen On" toggle lets you leave the device on a counter, ready to call at any moment.
On the Receiver side, an alert tone plays immediately and a voice announces the caller's name repeatedly until acknowledged. The screen flashes between red and yellow, making the alert visible even in loud or busy environments. A dismiss button stops the alert once you're ready.
Give each iPhone a nickname — "Front Counter," "Staff Room," "Mom's Room" — whatever fits your setup. The caller's name is displayed and announced on the receiver's screen, so there's never any confusion about who is calling from where.
Launch the app and give your iPhone a nickname. Then choose your role — Caller or Receiver. Do this on both iPhones and you're ready to pair.
Once the Receiver is in standby mode, the Caller scans for nearby devices and taps to connect. Paired devices are saved to history, so future sessions connect in seconds without repeating this step.
With the connection established, press the large bell button on the Caller screen. The Receiver's iPhone immediately plays an alert, announces the caller's name, and flashes the screen. The Receiver taps Dismiss to acknowledge the call.
"I run a small massage studio by myself, and I needed a way to let the receptionist know when I'm ready for the next client. This app does exactly that with zero setup cost. Just two phones and it works perfectly. Couldn't be simpler."
"I set this up between my phone and my elderly mother's phone in the next room. She presses the button when she needs me, and I hear it right away in the kitchen. The voice announcement is a brilliant touch — no confusion at all."
"We use this between the first and second floors of our house. No more yelling up the stairs! Pairing was easy, alerts are loud and clear, and the flashing screen means we never miss a call even when music is on. Great little app."
