Studio Magic ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy applies to our mobile application, and explains our practices regarding information.
2. General Data Collection Policy
Except for the locally processed facial data described in Section 3, we do not collect, store, use, or share any personal information or personally identifiable data from users of our App.
For clarity, apart from the specific facial features used for authentication, we do not collect any of the following:
- Personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or physical address.
- Contact information such as your phone number or contacts list.
- Device-specific information, such as device identifiers (e.g., IDFA).
- Usage data, analytics, or crash reports.
- Any other information that could be used to identify you or your device externally.
3. Facial Data Collection and Usage
To provide attendance tracking functionality (Check-in/Check-out), this App processes facial data. In compliance with Apple's guidelines, we provide the following details regarding our handling of face data:
- Data Collected: We use the iOS Vision Framework to analyze camera input and generate a mathematical representation (feature print) of the face. We do not permanently store actual facial images or videos.
- Purpose of Use: The generated facial feature data is used solely for the purpose of user identification and authentication within the App.
- Data Storage and Sharing: Facial feature data is stored locally and securely within the App's database on your device. This data is never uploaded to external servers, cloud storage, or shared with any third parties. All processing occurs offline on the device.
- Data Retention: Facial data is retained only as long as the specific user is registered in the App. When an administrator deletes a user profile from the App, the associated facial data is immediately and permanently removed from the device.
4. Use of Information
As stated above, facial data is used strictly for local authentication. We do not use your information for any other purpose.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information (including facial data) to any third parties.
6. Children's Privacy
Our App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
