TimeLog is an iPhone app that records your daily time by category and turns it into clear, actionable charts. Create your own categories — Work, Study, Housework, Gaming — pick one, hit Start, and the timer runs. Hit Stop and the session is saved automatically. Review your habits in daily, monthly, and yearly bar charts. Premium users can add past logs manually, edit existing records, export data as CSV, and sync everything to iCloud across devices.
Pick a category, tap Start, and the timer begins. Tap Stop when you're done and the session is saved instantly. Add an optional memo so you always know what you were working on.
All recorded time is visualized as stacked bar charts broken down by category. Switch between day, month, and year views to spot patterns in how you spend your time.
Add your own categories — Work, Study, Housework, and more. Choose from 10 colors to keep your charts easy to read at a glance. Reorder categories however you like.
Premium users can sync data automatically across all their devices via iCloud, and export any date range as a CSV file for deeper analysis in Excel or Google Sheets.
Open the app, choose a category from the wheel picker, and tap Start. The timer counts up in real time. You can type a memo while recording — it saves alongside the time entry when you stop.
Every session is listed in the History tab, grouped by date. Swipe left to delete an entry. With a Premium subscription, you can edit start/end times, categories, and memos — or add past sessions you forgot to record.
The Report tab displays stacked bar charts by day, month, or year. In the monthly view, tap any date to expand a category breakdown. The yearly view groups data by month so you can see long-term patterns.
Premium users can export any date range — a single year, a specific month, or a custom date span — as a CSV file. Open it in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets for custom analysis and reporting.
Open the app, choose a category from the picker, and tap the Start button. The timer begins immediately. You can optionally add a memo to describe what you're doing.
When you finish, tap Stop. The elapsed time is calculated automatically and saved with your chosen category and memo. No manual entry needed.
Head to the Report tab to see your time broken down by category in bar charts. Switch between daily, monthly, and yearly views to understand your habits over time.
"I started using it to separate work time from study time. The timer is so frictionless that I actually use it every day. Seeing the weekly pattern in the chart has been eye-opening."
"I wanted to see how much time goes into housework and childcare. The color-coded categories make the charts super readable, and the monthly totals are exactly what I needed."
"Using it to track my study sessions for entrance exams. The CSV export is great — I paste it into Excel and build my own analysis. iCloud sync means my iPhone and iPad always stay in sync."
