The night you never knew you had.

Snore & Sleep Talk Recorder automatically starts recording the moment it detects sound — no buttons to press in your sleep. Set your phone on the nightstand, tap Start, and wake up to a complete log of everything that happened. Snoring, sleep talking, teeth grinding — if it made a sound, it's on record. Adjust the detection threshold and silence timeout to fit your bedroom, play recordings back with a tap, and share files directly with your doctor or partner (Premium).

Sound-Activated Auto Recording

The app doesn't record continuously — it listens quietly and only starts recording when the sound level crosses your threshold. When silence returns, it stops automatically. You get only the relevant clips, saving storage without missing a thing.

Adjustable Detection Level and Silence Timeout

Set exactly how loud a sound needs to be before recording starts, and how many seconds of quiet it takes to stop. A sensitive setting catches even soft murmurs; a less sensitive one only picks up loud snoring. Fine-tune both until the clips you get are exactly what you need.

Instant Playback in the Recording List

Every recording is automatically added to the list with its filename, duration, and file size. Tap any entry to play it back on the spot. Check what happened at 2 AM the moment you wake up — no file manager, no extra steps.

Share Recordings (Premium)

Premium users can share any recording via AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or any other app on their device. Bring your actual recordings to a sleep clinic appointment, let your partner hear for themselves, or back files up to the cloud — the choice is yours.

Set It Down, Tap Once, and Sleep

Plug in your phone, set it on the nightstand, open the app, and tap the Start button. That's the whole setup. The app continuously monitors the microphone level and triggers a recording the instant sound exceeds your threshold. When it goes quiet, recording stops and the app waits for the next sound. By morning, your recording list is ready to review. Zero interaction required while you sleep.

AUTO
METER

Real-Time Level Meter Shows Exactly What's Happening

While monitoring is active, a live volume meter and dB readout are displayed on screen. You can see at a glance how loud your environment is right now, which makes it easy to calibrate the detection threshold before bed. When a recording starts, the meter changes color so you always know whether the app is listening or actively recording.

Tune the Settings to Your Bedroom

Every bedroom is different — and so is every snorer. The detection threshold slider covers −60 dB to −10 dB. Move it toward "sensitive" to catch quiet murmurs and soft sleep talking; move it toward "less sensitive" to record only louder snoring. The silence timeout (0.5–10 seconds) controls how long a pause needs to be before a clip ends — set it longer and intermittent snoring gets saved as one continuous file rather than dozens of fragments.

TUNE
SHARE

Share and Use Your Recordings (Premium)

Premium members can share recorded audio files via AirDrop, email, LINE, Messages, or cloud storage services directly from the recording list. Bring real evidence to a sleep clinic, send clips to your doctor for review, or let your partner finally hear what they've been putting up with. Premium also removes the per-session recording cap, so no matter how many times you snore in one night, every event gets captured.

3 Steps to Start Recording Tonight

1
Place your phone by the bed and open the app

Plug your phone into a charger and set it on your nightstand. When you open the app, it will ask for microphone permission — tap Allow to continue.

2
Tap Start and go to sleep

Tap the monitor button in the center of the screen. The app begins listening immediately. Go to sleep as normal — the app will detect sound automatically and start recording when needed, then stop when it goes quiet.

3
Check your recordings in the morning

When you wake up, open the app and review the list of recordings from the night. Tap any file to play it back. Premium users can share recordings directly with a doctor, partner, or cloud storage with one tap.

What Users Are Saying

"My family kept telling me my snoring was loud, but I never believed it until I played back a recording. It was bad enough that I actually booked a doctor's appointment. Setup couldn't be simpler — just put the phone down and tap."

— snore_believer_tanaka

"My girlfriend said I talk in my sleep and I thought she was exaggerating. Turned out I was having full-on conversations. Now I listen every morning — it's honestly kind of entertaining. Adjusting the detection level made a huge difference in the quality of the clips."

— sleeptalker_sato

"I wanted to understand why some nights I wake up tired and others I feel fine. Tracking the number and length of recordings each night has been eye-opening. Upgraded to Premium to share clips with my doctor. Highly recommend."

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions below.

QDoes it record continuously all night?

ANo. The app monitors sound continuously but only records when the level crosses your detection threshold. When sound drops below the threshold for the duration of your silence timeout, recording stops. This means you only get clips of actual sounds — quiet periods produce no files and use no storage.
QWhat are the limits on the free plan?

AThe free plan allows up to 3 automatic recordings per monitoring session (one session = from Start to Stop). If the app detects sound after the limit is reached, that event is skipped and the count of skipped events is shown on screen. Upgrade to Premium for unlimited recordings per session.
QCan I share the recordings?

AYes, with a Premium subscription. Tap the share button on any recording to send it via AirDrop, email, Messages, LINE, or any app that accepts audio files. On the free plan, recordings can only be played back within the app.
QHow should I set the detection level?

AUse the slider in Settings to adjust between −60 dB (very sensitive) and −10 dB (less sensitive). For a quiet bedroom where you want to catch soft sleep talking, try around −50 dB. For louder snoring only, −30 dB is a good starting point. The live meter on the main screen helps you calibrate before you go to bed.
QDoes the app keep monitoring until morning?

AYes — monitoring continues until you tap the Stop button. In the morning, tap Stop and then check your recording list. We recommend keeping your phone plugged in overnight so the battery doesn't run out mid-session.
