Snore & Sleep Talk Recorder automatically starts recording the moment it detects sound — no buttons to press in your sleep. Set your phone on the nightstand, tap Start, and wake up to a complete log of everything that happened. Snoring, sleep talking, teeth grinding — if it made a sound, it's on record. Adjust the detection threshold and silence timeout to fit your bedroom, play recordings back with a tap, and share files directly with your doctor or partner (Premium).
The app doesn't record continuously — it listens quietly and only starts recording when the sound level crosses your threshold. When silence returns, it stops automatically. You get only the relevant clips, saving storage without missing a thing.
Set exactly how loud a sound needs to be before recording starts, and how many seconds of quiet it takes to stop. A sensitive setting catches even soft murmurs; a less sensitive one only picks up loud snoring. Fine-tune both until the clips you get are exactly what you need.
Every recording is automatically added to the list with its filename, duration, and file size. Tap any entry to play it back on the spot. Check what happened at 2 AM the moment you wake up — no file manager, no extra steps.
Premium users can share any recording via AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or any other app on their device. Bring your actual recordings to a sleep clinic appointment, let your partner hear for themselves, or back files up to the cloud — the choice is yours.
Plug in your phone, set it on the nightstand, open the app, and tap the Start button. That's the whole setup. The app continuously monitors the microphone level and triggers a recording the instant sound exceeds your threshold. When it goes quiet, recording stops and the app waits for the next sound. By morning, your recording list is ready to review. Zero interaction required while you sleep.
While monitoring is active, a live volume meter and dB readout are displayed on screen. You can see at a glance how loud your environment is right now, which makes it easy to calibrate the detection threshold before bed. When a recording starts, the meter changes color so you always know whether the app is listening or actively recording.
Every bedroom is different — and so is every snorer. The detection threshold slider covers −60 dB to −10 dB. Move it toward "sensitive" to catch quiet murmurs and soft sleep talking; move it toward "less sensitive" to record only louder snoring. The silence timeout (0.5–10 seconds) controls how long a pause needs to be before a clip ends — set it longer and intermittent snoring gets saved as one continuous file rather than dozens of fragments.
Premium members can share recorded audio files via AirDrop, email, LINE, Messages, or cloud storage services directly from the recording list. Bring real evidence to a sleep clinic, send clips to your doctor for review, or let your partner finally hear what they've been putting up with. Premium also removes the per-session recording cap, so no matter how many times you snore in one night, every event gets captured.
Plug your phone into a charger and set it on your nightstand. When you open the app, it will ask for microphone permission — tap Allow to continue.
Tap the monitor button in the center of the screen. The app begins listening immediately. Go to sleep as normal — the app will detect sound automatically and start recording when needed, then stop when it goes quiet.
When you wake up, open the app and review the list of recordings from the night. Tap any file to play it back. Premium users can share recordings directly with a doctor, partner, or cloud storage with one tap.
"My family kept telling me my snoring was loud, but I never believed it until I played back a recording. It was bad enough that I actually booked a doctor's appointment. Setup couldn't be simpler — just put the phone down and tap."
"My girlfriend said I talk in my sleep and I thought she was exaggerating. Turned out I was having full-on conversations. Now I listen every morning — it's honestly kind of entertaining. Adjusting the detection level made a huge difference in the quality of the clips."
"I wanted to understand why some nights I wake up tired and others I feel fine. Tracking the number and length of recordings each night has been eye-opening. Upgraded to Premium to share clips with my doctor. Highly recommend."
