Three Modes to Choose From

Play with a photo from your camera roll, choose one of seven preset illustrations, or go classic with a number puzzle. A different mode every day keeps things fresh.

Easy 3×3 or Hard 4×4

Every mode offers two difficulty levels: 3×3 with 8 tiles for a quick solve, or 4×4 with 15 tiles for a real challenge. Great for all skill levels.

Animated Shuffle

At the start of each game, tiles shuffle one step at a time over 20 moves with smooth spring animation. The shuffle is always solvable by design.

Clear Alert on Completion

When every tile snaps into its correct position, a completion alert appears. Dismiss it and hit Shuffle again for your next round immediately.

Three Modes, Endless Variety

The mode selection screen offers three distinct paths. Photo mode lets you pick any image from your camera roll and turns it into a sliding puzzle automatically. Illustration mode presents seven built-in images to choose from. Number mode delivers the classic 8-puzzle and 15-puzzle experience with dedicated number layouts for each grid size. Switch modes any time for a completely different feel.

Two Difficulty Levels for Every Mode

No matter which mode you choose, you can select Easy (3×3, 8 tiles) or Hard (4×4, 15 tiles). The 3×3 grid is approachable for casual play and younger players, while the 4×4 grid offers a genuine brain workout. The same image at a different grid size feels like a whole new puzzle.

A Satisfying Animated Shuffle Every Time

When a game begins, the tiles shuffle step by step with a spring animation over 20 moves. The shuffle algorithm prevents the same tile from moving twice in a row, ensuring a well-mixed starting position every time. Tapping is disabled during the shuffle and re-enabled the moment it finishes so you can jump right in.

One-Tap Controls, No Dragging Needed

Tap any tile adjacent to the empty space and it slides over instantly. No dragging, no swiping — just tap. The game automatically detects when all tiles are in the solved position and shows the clear alert. From there you can shuffle and replay without leaving the screen.
