Generate it. Scan it. Everything QR, in one app.

QR Builder is an iPhone app that brings QR code generation and scanning together in a single, straightforward interface. In the Generate tab, type any text or URL and tap the button to create a high-resolution QR code instantly — then save it to your photo library with one tap. In the Scan tab, point your camera at any QR code and the app reads it automatically, letting you open the result in a browser, copy it to the clipboard, or send it through the iOS share sheet right away.

Instant QR Code Generation

Type any text or URL into the input area and tap "Generate QR Code." A high-resolution QR code with a clean white border appears immediately. Save it to your photo library in one tap whenever you need it.

Camera-Based QR Scanning

Open the Scan tab and the camera starts automatically. Align any QR code within the frame and the app reads it instantly, displaying the result as text. No buttons to press — it just works.

Three Ways to Use Scan Results

Once a QR code is scanned, use the result immediately: open a URL in the browser, copy the text to the clipboard, or share it through the iOS share sheet. Each button activates only when it's applicable.

Save QR Codes as Images

Tap the "Save as Image" button to write the generated QR code to your Photos library. The button stays disabled until a QR code has been generated, and an alert confirms the outcome of the save.

High-Resolution QR Codes Generated Instantly

Enter any text or URL in the input field and tap "Generate QR Code." The app renders a QR code at 10× scale with a clean white padding border, making it reliable to scan and print. A sample QR code is generated automatically when the app opens so you can see the result right away. The text field scrolls and accepts multi-line input for longer strings.

GENERATE
SAVE

One-Tap Save to Photos

The red "Save as Image" button saves the currently displayed QR code directly to your iPhone's photo library. The button is disabled when no QR code has been generated, preventing accidental taps. After saving, an alert confirms success. If the app hasn't been granted photo library access, the alert message tells you exactly where to enable it in the Settings app.

Automatic Camera Scanning

Switching to the Scan tab starts the camera without any extra steps. Center a QR code within the rounded frame on screen and the app detects and reads it automatically, then stops scanning and shows the result. If camera access hasn't been granted, or if the device doesn't support data scanning, a clear error alert appears with a button to open the relevant Settings page.

SCAN
USE

Open, Copy, or Share Scan Results in One Tap

Three action buttons appear below the scan result. "Open in Browser" becomes active only when the scanned text is a valid URL — tap it to open the link directly in Safari or your default browser. "Copy" copies the text to the clipboard. "Share" opens the standard iOS share sheet so you can send the result to any app. All three buttons disable automatically when the result area is empty.

Generate. Scan.
Use it right away.
