Pocket Money is a simple iOS app for tracking allowance and spending. Tap Receive when you get money, tap Spend when you use it, and your current balance updates in real time. Set a savings goal โ a toy, a game, anything you want โ and a progress bar shows exactly how close you are. Categorize spending with emoji icons like ๐๐๐ฎ๐ and review everything in the history screen. Fast to record, fun to watch grow.
Two big buttons on the home screen cover everything. Tap Receive to log incoming money, tap Spend to log an expense. Enter the amount and save โ your balance updates instantly, shown in large bold text so you always know where you stand.
Name your goal and enter the target amount. A progress bar on the home screen fills up as your balance grows, and the remaining amount is shown at a glance. Reaching the goal triggers a celebration message โ motivation built right in.
When logging an expense, choose from emoji categories โ ๐ Shopping, ๐ Food, ๐ฐ Snacks, ๐ฎ Games, ๐ Books, ๐ Gifts, ๐ Transport, and โ Other. The icon appears in your history so you can see at a glance where your money went.
Every transaction is saved to the history screen, sorted from newest to oldest. Each entry shows the emoji category, memo, date, and amount. Swipe left on any entry to delete it โ handy for fixing mistakes.
The home screen shows your current balance in large rounded numbers at the top. Below it, the savings goal progress bar updates in real time as your balance changes. A positive balance shows in the default color; a negative balance turns red. When you hit your goal, a ๐ Goal Achieved! ๐ message appears front and center.
Tap Receive or Spend โ enter the amount โ tap Save. That's the whole flow. The date defaults to today automatically. You can optionally add a memo and, for expenses, select an emoji category from eight choices. The blue Receive button and red Spend button make it clear which action you're taking before you even look at the screen.
Enter what you're saving for and how much it costs. The progress bar on the home screen fills up as your balance grows toward the target. The remaining amount is always visible so you know exactly how many more allowances โ or how many fewer snacks โ stand between you and your goal.
The history screen lists every Receive and Spend entry in reverse chronological order. Each row shows the emoji icon, memo, date, and amount in green (received) or red (spent). Swipe left to delete a single entry, or tap Edit to remove multiple entries at once.
Open the app and tap "Let's set a new goal!" Enter the name of what you're saving for and the target amount. This becomes your goal on the home screen, and the progress bar will start tracking from the moment you save it.
Tap the blue Receive button whenever you get allowance or a gift. Tap the red Spend button whenever you buy something. Enter the amount, choose an emoji category for expenses, add an optional memo, and tap Save. Done in seconds.
Every time your balance changes, the progress bar on the home screen updates. Check the remaining amount anytime and keep recording until the bar reaches the end and the goal achieved message appears.

"Super simple to use โ no complicated menus or confusing settings. Blue button for money in, red button for money out. The emoji categories are cute and make it fun to log spending. It's become a daily habit."
"I love seeing the progress bar move closer to the goal every time I add allowance. When the goal achieved message popped up I was so happy. I've already set a new goal and I'm working toward it."
