JigsawPuzzle - Photo to Jigsaw lets you transform any photo from your camera roll into a 4×4, 16-piece jigsaw puzzle right on your iPhone. Each piece has a unique interlocking tab-and-blank shape generated fresh every time. Drag pieces into place, feel them snap when you get close, and enjoy a satisfying completion screen when every piece fits. A different photo means a brand-new puzzle — the fun never runs out.
Tap the photo icon, pick any image from your camera roll, and a 4×4 jigsaw puzzle is generated instantly. Your favorite memories, pet photos, or travel shots all work perfectly.
Every puzzle is built with randomly shaped tab-and-blank edges so pieces interlock like a real jigsaw. The width, height, and direction of each tab are different every single time.
When a piece gets close enough to its correct position, it snaps into place automatically with a gentle haptic tap. You always know when a piece truly fits.
Finish the puzzle and a celebration overlay appears along with a stronger haptic burst. Tap Play Again to reshuffle the same photo or pick a new one for a fresh challenge.
Tap the photo icon in the top-right corner, choose an image from your camera roll, and the app automatically crops and resizes it to fit the puzzle area. Sixteen jigsaw pieces are generated and scattered around the grid, ready for you to solve. Change the photo any time to create a brand-new puzzle from a different memory.
The edges between pieces are generated with randomized tab-and-blank shapes each time a puzzle is created. Adjacent pieces always have matching interlocking edges, just like a physical jigsaw puzzle. Because the tab width, height, and direction are all randomized, even the same photo produces a visually different set of pieces on every play.
Drag any piece across the board — the active piece rises to the front so it is always easy to see. When a piece comes within 30 points of its correct position it snaps into place with a light haptic tap. Once every piece is in place, a stronger notification haptic fires and the completion screen appears. Pieces lock after the puzzle is finished so nothing gets accidentally moved.
The background of the puzzle area shows a faint version of your original photo, giving you a reference for where each piece belongs without making it too easy. When the puzzle is complete, the guide image snaps to full brightness, revealing the photo underneath as a satisfying finishing touch.
Tap the photo icon in the top-right corner of the puzzle screen and select any image from your camera roll. The app resizes it automatically and generates 16 jigsaw pieces scattered around the board.
Drag each piece toward where you think it belongs. Use the faint guide image in the background for reference. When a piece gets close enough to its correct position, it snaps into place with a haptic click.
When every piece is in the right spot, a completion screen appears. Tap Play Again to reshuffle the same photo for another round, or pick a new photo to start a completely different puzzle.
