MindFlow is a clean, gesture-driven mind mapping app for iPhone. Drag from any node to an empty space to create a new topic — Bézier curves connect them automatically. Pinch to zoom in and out, drag the background to pan. Long-press to edit text or delete a node and all its descendants. Manage multiple documents with the folder button, customize level colors in the theme settings, and upgrade to Premium for iCloud sync, unlimited documents, and unlimited node depth.
Drag from any existing node to an empty area and a new topic node appears where you lift your finger, connected by a smooth Bézier curve. Tap a node to select it, drag a selected node to move it. No buttons, no menus required — just drag.
Long-press any node to open a context menu. Choose Edit Text to rename it inline, or Delete Node to remove it along with all its child and descendant nodes at once. The root node cannot be deleted.
Node color changes automatically with depth — root, child, grandchild, and beyond each get their own color. Open the Theme tab in Options to customize all 10 level colors with a color picker, and reset everything to defaults with one tap.
Tap the folder icon in the top-right corner to open the document list. Create new mind maps, switch between files, rename them, or delete them with a left swipe. The free plan supports up to 3 documents; Premium removes the limit.
Tapping a node selects it. Dragging a selected node moves it and all its descendants together. Dragging from an unselected node creates a new child node at the release point, connected with a Bézier curve. The distinction is intentional — select first to move, drag without selecting to branch. Once you get the feel for it, building complex maps becomes effortless.
Two-finger pinch gestures zoom the entire canvas in or out. Drag the background to shift your viewpoint in any direction. The current document name floats in the center of the toolbar area so you always know which file you're editing. The canvas responds smoothly even on large, deep mind maps.
Every node is automatically colored based on its depth in the tree — root is one color, children another, grandchildren another, and so on through 10 levels. Open the gear icon in the bottom-right corner, switch to the Theme tab, and adjust any level's color with a color picker. Tap Reset to Defaults to restore the original palette at any time.
The free plan limits you to 3 documents and 3 levels of node depth (root → child → grandchild). Upgrading to Premium removes all ads, lifts both limits entirely, and unlocks iCloud Sync. With iCloud enabled, your mind maps stay in sync across all your iPhone and iPad devices automatically — local files are migrated to iCloud when you turn the toggle on.
MindFlow opens the last document you were working on automatically. Tap the folder icon in the top-right corner to create a new document or switch to an existing one. Each document gets its own canvas and is saved independently.
Drag from the center node to an empty space to add your first branch. Keep dragging from any node to grow the map. Tap to select, drag a selected node to reposition it along with all its children. Long-press for edit and delete options. Pinch to zoom, drag the background to pan around the canvas.
Every change — adding, moving, editing, or deleting a node — is saved to the file automatically. No save button, no lost work. Open the document list anytime to switch between maps or organize your files by project, topic, or any other system.
