Each card displays the proverb in traditional vertical Japanese script at a large, readable size. Long proverbs are automatically split into two columns at a natural linguistic boundary using morphological analysis — so the layout always looks intentional, never awkward. Swipe left or right to flip the card with a 3D rotation effect. Swipe again to flip back.
The back of every card organizes information into color-coded sections: reading (blue), meaning (green), and usage example (pink) are always shown. Synonyms (yellow) and antonyms (purple) appear when data is available. Each section uses a pastel background with a labeled header, making it easy to scan at a glance.
Swipe up to move to the next proverb, swipe down to go back — each transition plays a smooth slide animation. A slider at the bottom of the screen lets you jump to any specific card number instantly. A counter shows your current position out of the total number of proverbs.
