All 4 Operations

Practice addition, subtraction, multiplication, and long division — all in proper written format. Multiplication includes partial products for 2-digit × 2-digit problems. Long division walks through quotient, product, and remainder step by step.

Adjustable Difficulty

Mix and match 1-, 2-, and 3-digit numbers to set the difficulty that's right for you. Start with 1×1 digit and work your way up to 3×2 digit problems as your skills grow.

Instant Feedback

Tap "Check Answer" and a big animated circle (correct) or X (wrong) appears right away. You can see immediately where you went wrong and try again on the spot.

Unlimited Random Problems

Every tap of "Next Problem" generates a fresh random question within your chosen digit range. Endless variety means you'll never run out of problems to practice.

3 Simple Steps to Start Practicing

1
Choose digit count and operation

On the menu screen, select the number of digits for each operand using the pickers. Then tap one of the four operation buttons — Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, or Division — to start.

2
Fill in the written arithmetic format

The problem appears in standard written arithmetic layout. Tap each input box and enter a digit. For multiplication, fill in the partial products too. For division, work through the quotient, products, and remainders in order.

3
Check your answer and move on

Tap "Check Answer" — a large circle means correct, an X means incorrect. If you got it wrong, correct your answer and try again. When you're ready, tap "Next Problem" for a fresh question.

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions below.

QWhat grade level is this app for?

AAddition and subtraction suit grades 2–3, multiplication suits grades 3–4, and division suits grades 4–5, but you can adjust the digit count to match any level.
QWhat is the maximum digit count for multiplication?

AUp to 3-digit × 2-digit or 2-digit × 3-digit. 3-digit × 3-digit is not supported because the layout doesn't fit on screen.
QCan I set the divisor to have more digits than the dividend?

ANo. The dividend (left number) must have at least as many digits as the divisor (right number). For example, 2-digit ÷ 1-digit and 3-digit ÷ 2-digit are valid combinations.
QAre the problems randomly generated?

AYes. Every time you tap "Next Problem," a new random problem is generated within your chosen digit range, so you'll almost never see the same problem twice.
QIs it free?

AYes, all features are completely free. A banner ad is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
