Bluetooth Scanner continuously scans for nearby BLE devices and maps their signal strength in real time, so you always know which direction to walk. A pulse-ring proximity radar shows how close you are at a glance, a live RSSI graph tracks whether you're getting warmer or colder, and automatic device-type detection tells you what each signal belongs to — even when the device has no name.
Tap Scan and the app immediately starts detecting every BLE device in range, sorting them by signal strength and refreshing the list every three seconds. Devices that go silent for 30 seconds are automatically removed, keeping the list clean and current.
RSSI values are translated into four clear levels — Excellent, Good, Fair, and Weak — each with a distinct color and a signal-bar indicator. The closer you get, the greener the display, giving you an immediate sense of distance without reading any numbers.
Tap any device to open the proximity tracking screen. A pulse-ring animation expands and contracts with signal strength, while a trend badge tells you in plain language whether you're approaching or moving away — updated live as you move.
The tracking screen shows a live line graph of the last ten RSSI readings. A rising graph means you're heading in the right direction. Use it to find the path of least resistance to whatever you've misplaced.
The scanner runs continuously once started, re-sorting devices by signal strength every three seconds so the strongest signal always sits at the top. RSSI changes smaller than 3 dBm are ignored as noise, keeping the list stable and easy to read even in environments with fluctuating signals.
When a device doesn't broadcast a name, the app inspects its service UUIDs and manufacturer data to infer what it is — identifying Apple devices, iBeacons, heart rate sensors, cycling sensors, and many more. You see a meaningful label instead of a blank or "Unknown Device."
The proximity tracking screen centers on a pulse-ring whose size directly reflects the current signal level — larger means closer. Three concentric rings pulse outward continuously, and the ring snaps to a new size smoothly whenever the signal changes, giving you a clear, animated distance indicator.
A dark-themed line graph at the bottom of the tracking screen plots up to ten consecutive RSSI readings. When the line trends upward you're on the right track. When it flattens or drops, turn around and try another direction.
Tap the Scan button and the app immediately begins detecting nearby Bluetooth devices. They appear sorted by signal strength, strongest at the top, so your target is easy to spot as soon as it shows up.
Tap the device you're looking for to open the proximity tracking screen. Watch the pulse-ring expand as you get closer, and keep an eye on the trend badge — "Approaching" means you're heading the right way.
Use the live RSSI graph to fine-tune your search. When the line climbs and the ring label reads "Excellent," you're right on top of it.
"Found my earphones wedged between sofa cushions thanks to this app. I followed the pulse ring getting bigger and bigger until I was staring right at them. The UI looks great too — one of those apps you actually enjoy using."
"The automatic device type detection is really handy. Nameless BLE devices show up as "Apple Device" or "Heart Rate Sensor" instead of just a blank, which makes it much easier to identify what's yours. The RSSI graph for direction is a great touch."
"Clean, intuitive interface — I went from scan to finding my device without any guesswork. The moment the trend badge switched to "Approaching" I knew exactly where to look. Essential app if you lose things regularly."
